Scripture: Isaiah 60: 1. Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.
Beloved, I welcome you to another Moment of Daily Encounter! Yesterday, we consider the relationship between light and your faith and we discovered that both are inseparable!
Your faith depends on your light! And today, we intends looking at the relationship between your light and your rising in life.
What relationship exists between your light and your rising?
Please note that your light in in this context means your insight while rising in this context means growth, acceleration, expansion, multiplication, increase etc.
The following are the relationship between light and our results/outcome:
1. Our outcome which is our growth, increase or acceleration is light dependent. The Bible said:
Psalm 36:9 For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light*
In God’s light we are able to see and navigate our way through life! Which means without God shedding His light on us we go no where and as such our growth is arrested. When the mind is blind, the life is stagnated. The Bible said:
Ecclesiastes 10:15 The labour of the foolish wearieth every one of them, because he knoweth not how to go to the city.
You will all agree with me that no man can drive the car inside thick darkness without headlamp. Even when there’s headlamp the speed is minimal in darkness!
So also is our acceleration in life, it slow down without adequate light. Your insight or your light define your height!
Infact, the height you are currently is directly proportional to the light you have! If you must change level then a new light/ insight must be acces.
2. Our light is the foundation of our faith and faith is the basis of our rising in life.
Faith is the name given to the action you take based on your conviction! And what produces conviction is what God has told you which is light or the word of God.
For example, God told Sarah in:
Genesis 18: 14. Is any thing too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.
This was the promised made to Sarah and in the light of this faith was born, for the Bible said:
Hebrews 11: 11. Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised.
Now, with light on ground, faith is born in the heart of Sarah that enable her to rise from barrenness to joyful mother of Isaac; I’m glad to announce to someone here, you rising from barrenness to a joyful mother in the name of Jesus! The Bible said:
Genesis 21: 1. And the LORD visited Sarah as he had said, and the LORD did unto Sarah as he had spoken. 2. For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.
Beloved, you too can rise from wherever life has kept you! You can can rise from obscurity, you can rise from rejection, you can rise from poverty, you can rise from sickness and diseases, you can rise from lack and indebtedness, you can rise from singleness to being married etc, for the Bible said ;
Isaiah 60:1“Arise [from spiritual depression to a new life], shine [be radiant with the glory and brilliance of the Lord ]; for your light has come, And the glory and brilliance of the Lord has risen upon you.

What ever be the condition life has kept you, you can always arise and shine on the strength of light that has come to you.
Therefore, hunt for light from the word of God that guarantee your rising in any areas of your life that you desire rising. Seek out the promises of God that define the boundaries of God’s commitment to you.
Why do need to search for light?
1. Because it was commanded:
John 5: 39. Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.
2. Because God is only committed to deliver what you can see:
Jeremiah 1: 12. Then said the LORD unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.
What are the attitude to put on while searching for light?
1. Meekness attitude Ps.25:9
2. Childlike attitude Jam.1:21
3. Hunger and desperation attitude Matt.5;6
4. Treasuring attitude Job 23:12
In summary, light and your rising in life are related, the higher your light, the higher your outcome or results in light.
Remember this: Heaven is real and hell is real. The decision to spend eternity with God begins right now. Give your heart to Jesus today
Prayer points:
– Father thank you for your word to me today.
– Lord, send me your light that can help me to rise up in life in the name of Jesus.
Prophetic Declaration:
– I declare by virtue of revelational knowledge of God that is coming your way this season, you will arise and shine in the name of Jesus.
– I prophesy the lifting power of God is lifting you now in the name of Jesus.
Assignment : Hunt for light that guarantees your rising in life and destiny today.
