- Native speakers of the language they intend to teach in France (including but not limited to German, English, Arabic, Chinese, Spanish, Hebrew, Italian, sign language, Dutch, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Czech, or Turkish).
- Completion of the majority of secondary schooling and higher education in the country of application.
- Age between 20 and 35 as of December 31, 2024.
- Current university enrollment at the time of application, with some flexibility based on partner countries and institutions.
- Possession of a diploma equivalent to the 2nd year of the license course (L2) during the application process.
- Proficiency in the French language at a B1 level on the Common European Framework of References for Languages scale.
